We have already this year celebrated a couple of birthdays. Grandma Hahn's birthday was on the 18th and she was 91. As we visited her that weekend after celebrating with Cilla on her 65th, the comment was made that there is a 90 years difference in age between Grace and her. Truly amazing for Grace to have her Great Grandma that can still play with her and hold her and know who she is. May we all be that fortunate to live that long and be as well as Grandma is. It was great too celebrating with Cilla as we were all there. We weren't all able to be together for the holiday so it was fun for the few hours that we were.
So some things that Grace is doing...
- she is now crawling all over and quite speedy at it!
- she can pull up to things on her knees and is starting to be very brave and mischiveous, likes to open drawers and cupboards, pull things off of shelves
- loves reading books! she will sit or lay and look at a book for many minutes
- loves watching videos on the computer, well anything to do with the computer she enjoys
- she is eating more and more table foods, there hasn't been a single thing that she hasn't liked
- while she plays she often lays on her back and holds something with her feet while playing with it
- she has figured out how to open the DVD cases
- she will crawl to the bathroom when you tell her it is bath time
- she is very attached to her kitty blanket
- she weighs 22 lbs
- she graduated to a new carseat (hoping that it would eliminate some of the crying in the car)
- she doesn't like anything put together or in containers, most of the playing is taking things apart and emptying things
- she has 8 teeth but is working on some more, her mouth is very sore at the moment
- she drinks exclusivly out of a sippy cup
- she "dances", it kind of looks like a bobble head when she does it as she only moves her head, it is quite cute and funny!
I am sure there are many more things but it is getting late and can't think of any others right now. Till next time....
